On July 14, 2014, Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church had the opportunity to travel to Brunswick, Georgia on a mission trip with the organization World Changers. They joined more than 220 teens from across the nation to devote their selves for one week to work on various projects throughout the city. The group stayed at Northside Baptist Church. The groups worked on roofs, painting, demolition, putting up siding, carpentry, and other projects. The children also had opportunity to witness to the homeowners and the neighbors. Each night the children had devotion and worship at the church. The children worked hard and met a lot of new friends. They were happy to learn more about Jesus and helping the people of Brunswick Georgia. Special thanks to Brother Willie Scott for being a Crew Leader, Sister Jackie G. Deese for being a Crew Encourager, Brother Chester Sutherland for being an Adult Volunteer and Sister Rene Locklear for being a runner for our group. We would also like to thank our church, family and community for sponsoring us on our trip. We thank God for his blessings on this trip.
