Saturday, May 13, Cherokee’s Mothers/Daughters received a better understanding as why sunflowers are always drooping in the morning. Mrs. Leigh Bullard gave a short message on, “Are you a SON-flower” (what we must do to be a follower of the “SON”). 1. “SON” flowers will always track the SON… 2. “SON” flowers need to have a stable foundation 3. “SON” flowers produce seed. Like a sunflower which follows every movement of the sun, we should turn to God and follow the direction that God is leading us. Also, mothers/daughters were given the opportunity of hand painting their own unique sunflower on canvas. Thanks to Mrs. Debbie Chavis for the preparation of this annual event. So, are you living like a SON-flower?
