Saturday, May 13, Cherokee’s Mothers/Daughters received a better understanding as why sunflowers are always drooping in the morning. Mrs. Leigh Bullard gave a short message on, “Are you a SON-flower” (what we must do to be a follower of the “SON”). 1. “SON” flowers will always track the SON… 2. “SON” flowers need to have a stable foundation 3. “SON” flowers produce seed. Like a sunflower which follows every movement of the sun, we should turn to God and follow the direction that God is leading us. Also, mothers/daughters were given the opportunity of hand painting their own unique sunflower on canvas. Thanks to Mrs. Debbie Chavis for the preparation of this annual event.
