The Easter Egg Hunt 2022 went down in church history as one of the largest outdoor events since COVID-19, with hundreds in attendance at Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church on 4/16/2022. Numerous members of the church and local community families supported the event and were surprised by a guest appearance from the Easter Bunny. However, the message was proclaimed loud and clear, “Silly Rabbit, Easter is for Jesus”. Bro. Bronnie Scott brought the welcome, Sis. Dufrena Locklear shared the Easter Story using the Resurrection Eggs as a demonstration and Rev. Chris Miller offered a short sermon during his closing remarks. Families united for this special event and were delighted to join in the traditional Easter Egg hunt, jumpers for the kids, playing games, eating delicious food (especially icees), and taking pictures with the Easter Bunny was a treat for all ages.
