June 22nd was a special day at Shoeheel Holiness Methodist Church as we celebrated our annual Homecoming. It was a time of joyful fellowship, heartfelt worship, and reflection on God’s faithfulness to our church family through the years. We were blessed to hear a powerful message from Reverend Josh Locklear, who preached from the well-known account in Scripture where God parted the Red Sea, making a way for the descendants of Jacob to escape the Egyptians and cross safely to dry ground.

Reverend Locklear reminded us that just as God delivered His people from bondage and led them into freedom, He is still in the business of making a way where there seems to be no way. His message stirred our hearts to trust in the Lord during life’s trials, knowing that He is the same God who goes before us, fights for us, and brings us through to safety. It was a timely word that encouraged us all to remember God’s power to deliver, no matter how impossible the situation may seem.

Afterwards we enjoyed a wonderful meal with one another in the fellowship hall. We would like to thank everyone who helped.
