Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church honored their graduates and given them Bibles on May 30, 2015 at our Youth Sunday. We had three kindergarten graduates: Malea Freeman, Dakota Locklear, and Brannigan Maynor. They all attend Union Chapel Elementary School. The Purnell Swett High School graduates were: Morgan Deese, Stevie Hunt, Christen Locklear, Ethan Oxendine, Lauren Hailey Oxendine, Lauren Jill Oxendine, and Nick Oxendine. Destiny Jacobs also graduated high school from Red Springs High. Jamie Revels was our Robeson Community College graduate. We are honored to have such an outstanding group of graduates this year. We expect wonderful things from these students. Our student of excellence was Emma Locklear. She is active in Youth for Christ and the Children’s Choir. We appreciate her positive attitude. She is a student at Piney Grove School. Mr. Ozell Baker was recognized as our outstanding adult. Mr. Ozell is our door greeter every Sunday. We appreciate him welcoming everyone into the church. He was awarded with a pin that says “Greeter.” Pastor Willie Scott recognized Ms. Diane Goins for her dedication to our church. She was also given flowers by the children of the Church. Brother Bronnie Scott gave a wonderful message to our youth. After worship service, we celebrated with the graduates at a dinner with family and friends.
