Union Chapel Hoilness Methodist Church celebrated Old Fashion Day and Grandparent’s Day on 9/11/11. As part of the celebration many members of all ages dressed up like the good ole days. Members had fun wearing their bonnets, aprons, overalls, and suspenders.
We served our grandparents donuts, coffee, and fruit before Sunday School. They enjoyed the food and fellowship. The Youth For Christ played their old fashioned homemade instruments and sang “I’ll Fly Away” during worship service. We appreciate all of our grandparents and senior citizens and we are so thankful that they are such an important part of our church.
