MEMO
We all by now have heard about the devastating storms and tornadoes that have struck the mid west one of the hardest hit areas has been in Oklahoma. To this end we are working very hard to raise supplies and funds to help those directly impacted. We offer an invitation to all churches, businesses and individuals to get involved. At last report some 13,000 homes have been severely damaged or destroyed. Our church has contacted some local businesses in Pembroke to serve as drop-off points for supplies such as non-perishable food items, diapers and cleaning supplies.
Please do not bring clothing items as they are not being accepted. We encourage our churches to lift a special offering for this endeavor. Drop-off sites are Fast-lube and Cyna’s with the Lumber River Conference of the Holiness Methodist Church Conference building being opened during the week of Lumbee Homecoming. You can also drop goods off at your local church. For more information please feel free to contact Jackie Deese at 910-734-3960, Bronnie Scott at 740-9088, Dwayne Lowry at 258-2024, and Rene Locklear at 734-2798.
Please be in prayer for this project and give as the Lord leads you.
Sincerely yours,
Willie Scott, Jr Pastor
