Maxton- On September 6, 2014 marked yet another first for Shoeheel Holiness Methodist church youth group as they held a hot dog evangelism event from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. With the goal of reaching the community as a whole and targeting the traffic that zooms past the church on highway 501, they cooked hot dogs, served with trimmings and chips and soft drinks. They also set up tents where they prayed for those who requested it along with bibles and prayer cloths that they and the congregation had prayed over. There was also time for fellowship and the opportunity to meet many new people.
