Bio:

Growing up in the “church world” Joshua Jones is no stranger to the life of ministry. He grew up in his father’s Community Baptist Church in North Carolina. It was in those early years that there was a stirring in Joshua’s heart toward the Lord. At the age of 18, Joshua made the commitment to fully surrender his life to Christ.

From 2004-2008, he served as an intern and was discipled under Bishop Tony Miller. This is where he met his wife Lindsey Miller and the two were married in 2011. Joshua and Lindsey Jones are the proud parents of 2 children. Their first born son, Honor Jase Jones age 4 and their daughter Saylor North Jones who is 2. His family is the greatest joy of his life.

In 2008, Joshua and Lindsey were established as the lead youth pastors at the Gate Church, Student Ministries, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They have seen God do amazing things in their ministry as well as see a passionate outbreak of God’s love in the youth and college age students. Seeing weekly miracles and confessions of faith in the lives of those they lead at The Gate church is not uncommon. The desire to experience God’s presence and power is great in Joshua’s heart.

He is a passionate young man who believes in challenging the body of Christ to settle for nothing less than what Christ has promised. His life motto, “The life of Christ isn’t a made up lifestyle but rather it’s the life that you were made for.”
