Maxton- Shoeheel Holiness Methodist Church presented its third Annual Live Nativity program on December 13th, 20th and 21st this year saw the return of folk who have attended each yearly presentation so far while welcoming individuals who were seeing it for the first time. Under the direction of the Reverend Harold D. Jacobs, music and program director at the church, emphasis was once again placed on the fact that the entire Christmas season was all because of the glorious Birth of Jesus. His humble birth in the lowly stable 2000 years ago and subsequent visit by the “wise men” demonstrated both His Servitude and his great Majesty and how even His name declares his glory reminding us that “He shall save His people from their sins”. This years’ event was made possible only because of the commitment of those who participated from Shoeheel, Macedonia, New Bethel and Riverside Holiness Methodist churches, Mt Olive and Lumberton Pentecostal churches and Prospect UMC.
