If one has a clear understanding of Paul’s writing in Ephesians chapter four there should be a great deal of excitement and  feelings of success and accomplishment whenever members of the Body of Christ feel led of God to go outside the walls of the church and be in ministry for Jesus Christ. This past Sunday Shoeheel Holiness Methodist Church once again had the grand privilege to share with members of the church who were doing just that. Sister Claire Rees Harris and her husband Brother Mitchell Harris have accepted the responsibility to be in ministry at one of the local nursing care facilities. It is important that as the disciples of old did that we pray and lay our hands on these individuals for two very important reasons. First, it says that as a Body of Believers, we have confidence in the Spiritual lives of these persons and we endorse them as part of the church and having examined them have found them capable of fulfilling the task set before them. Secondly, it says to those who are going that we are not only going to undergird them with prayer but that we are going to be there to help provide them with support by helping with physical needs that they or their clients might require. This is the second couple consecrated to this task Tim and Cecelia Locklear and their family have been very successful over the past year and half and are ready and willing to assist anyone who has a call to this type ministry.
