FROM THE DESK OF THE PASTOR

{xtypo_dropcap}W{/xtypo_dropcap}e as a body of believers in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior should hearken unto His words.  In the book of St. Matthew 28:19 and 20, He says, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

After having been given a personal invitation by the minister of this small church in Brazil, I felt much like Paul when he was bid to go down to Macedonia to share the gospel.  It was at this time, that a group of young people at our church decided to form the Brazilian Outreach Team (BOT).  They decided not only to continue sending our blessings to this small church, but that we will carry our blessing by making a mission trip in July of 2011.

Time is swiftly passing by, so we should be much in pray for the successful completion of this mission ministry.  Think for a moment what could come from the completion of this planned trip.  We could put the word of God in hands that have never had the opportunity to hold and study it.  We could share the Gospel with those who might have never heard it.  Then our own hearts can be filled with the satisfaction of going into the vineyards of our Lord to do His Good Work.  So Brothers and Sister join in and become a part of this Great Mission Opportunity.  Missions only happen, if we make them happen.
