Maxton- Shoeheel Holiness Methodist church celebrates another milestone with the addition of an electric organ to the music program led by the Reverend Harold Jacobs. On September 21, 2014 the instrument was consecrated to the Lord and played for the first time during Sunday school by the Reverend Clyde Locklear accompanied by Reverend Jacobs on piano. Later the same morning during the worship service they were both joined by the Reverend Steve Locklear on the bass guitar and Sister Collette Locklear on the electric key board. The church has a full set of drum and is asking God to send someone to play them or to raise up one from among us here. We are looking forward to the day when we can boast a fifty member choir and full orchestra to help us lift our praises to God the Father for His wonderful works toward the children of men.
