On November 22nd, 2014 we gave Sister Rosa Woods a surprise dinner for her many years of devoted service in playing the piano to glorify our Lord. Sister Rosa was asked how long she had played the piano? She said with humility, “I’ve been trying to play it all my life.” She recalled playing at the following churches: Old Prospect, Cherokee Chapel HMC, Hopewell HMC, New Bethel HMC, Hope Mills Methodist Church, and Macedonia HMC. Macedonia, Family, Friends, and Conference officials were there to appreciate her. She was blessed with a plaque, money, a piano flag and other gifts. We at Macedonia say, “thank you for all you did for us, your gift was shared to us with love.”
