Fairmont- On December 6, 2015 the Reverend Scott Hammonds and the congregation of New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church extended to Brother Roman R. Lowry the privilege to preach under the authority of God and in the fellowship of the Lumber River Conference of the Holiness Methodist Church. Joining him for this great occasion were his parents Teresa and Dwayne Lowry and his oldest niece Miss Santanna M. Lowry. Brother Roman has currently served as an exhorter for three years and today was issued his Local Pastor License. Further growth and commitment can lead to his full ordination into the ordained clergy aspect of the conference. This is a fortunate sign for the Churches of the Conference that God is still calling and equipping young men to carry the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
