“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23

On Saturday, December 2, members of our youth and adult choirs joined together with others members of the church to share the message of Christmas through song with our community. Our mode of transportation was an old fashion hayride — or as old fashioned as we could get! We rode through the community singing Christmas carols. At houses where people would come out to listen to us, we gave out candy canes and invitations to our annual Christmas play. We had 19 young people and adults go on the hayride. After finishing the hayride, we got in pickup trucks, and went to several of our church shut-ins to share with them a little Christmas cheer.
When we returned to the church, we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows over a bonfire — a perfect end to a perfect day of fun, food, and fellowship.
