The Eleventh Hour Ministries, in conjunction with Pembroke Hardware, Riverside Christian Academy, Cyna’s 3E, Union Chapel School, Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church and many helping hands held a street ministry at Pembroke Rural Fire Department on Sunday January 5, 2014. Pembroke Rural fire department graciously allowed us to use their facilities due to the rain. With the help of generous donations, we were able to give away clothes, shoes, toys, coats, blankets, can food items and a hot meal. Hot dogs, chicken bog, drinks, hot chocolate and cappuccino were served. We were able to pray with many in need and distribute gospel tracks. We are very appreciative of the many people who volunteered their time to make this event happen and a big thanks to Union Chapel School whose staff and students donated over 1700 cans of food. God is always showing mercy to us and we are delighted we can show mercy to others.
