Shoeheel Holiness Methodist Church’s Sunrise Service in Maxton, NC, was a powerful celebration of Resurrection Sunday. Brother Mitch Harris’ message, “He is Risen,” proclaimed Christ’s victory over death, inspiring reflection on His sacrifice. A challenge was asked, “What are we to do now,” to those who have been given such a great gift of salvation?
Holy Communion was overseen by Pastor Dwayne Lowry, commemorating Christ’s broken body and shed blood for the New Covenant. It was a time of deep reflection on what our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has done to atone and redeem those who believe. Set against the dawn, the service centered wholly on Christ, stirring hearts to thankfulness for God’s love and grace. Shoeheel’s Sunrise Service was a memorable call to worship and devotion.
