Opening Verse: Romans 1:14-16 “I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
Prayer of Thanksgiving: “Dear Heavenly Father, we are so thankful this day to be a part of this church and the church families; we are thankful for its members and each testimony that we have witness today . . . . Lord we thank you for the presents that we fell in our heart each day knowing that we are a Child of God. We thank you for your Holy Spirit in knowing that we are a child of King and that we can never deny that we are your All Mighty God. Lord, we ask thy blessing on those of do not know you as the personal Savior, Lord, if they hear the word of God that can will stand up and come the alter and receive You has their Savior and Lord before its everlasting too late Amen.”
The Title of Today Message:
“The Gospel is Far More Than a Key to the Front Door”, It is revealed to us in the next versus of Romans – 1:17 states, “For therein is the righteusness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The Just shall live by faith”. Sometimes we are put in situation as I was this week that our faith must be every present in our daily lives. This situation this week required Mr. Crawley and myself to use our faith that God would come on the scene immediately for a healing touch for our dear sister. We did not need to call 911 before we prayed to God about Ms. Lowery’s situation. As we prayed, her eyes began to open as she said, “Thank God”. We need to be able to live by faith and know – God Almighty.” Afterward, we hear a praise testimony from Ms. Lowery’s lips and how her faith in God and her relationship with her Lord was so strong in her life.
Yes! “God let things happen to bring proof to his marvelous works and in the very mist we can be witness to these works. On one occasion God stood on the Banks of the Red Sea as He instruction Moses to be a part of that great miracle. In all that you have witness still there is Power in the Lord”.
In an article that was read: “The Gospel is more Than a Key to the Front Door”. We do not just look at the Gospel and say that it’s an instrument put in place to help us. It much more, “The Gospel of Jesus Christ will lead us to the alter and convicted us of our sins and allow us the cry out to God. The Gospel is more than a key to the front door. There are examples here: The Gospel should be an entrance to the front door, back door, kitchen, bedroom, and every part of us. He should have free ring in our house where the Gospel can be applies to our relationship: be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another as God forgave us”.
Ephesians 4:32 – “Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you”. The Gospel must be a part where we share and love one another. The Gospel applies to families and marriages: 25) “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it. 31) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32) This is the great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and the Church”.
“It is not to be condemned by the thing of the past, but let us look to the future, Romans 9:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through his that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, or angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”. “The Gospel applies to us through our trials, Amen.”
In closing: Revelations 7:17 “For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters; and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Christians hold on the what you got The Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
