On April 14, 2013 at 5:00 pm, the youth of our conference were gathered at Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church to demonstrate their God given talents while showcasing their hard work and dedication. There were quite a few churches represented; some of which were Macedonia, Cherokee Chapel, Maxton Full Gospel, New Prospect, and Union Chapel. The Union Chapel youth group led the service with an opening congregational song and the teens performed a dramatization to the song entitled, “Waging War”. Macedonia youth also performed drama and sang as did many of the other youth groups. Towards the end of the program many of the church announced their upcoming spring revivals. Union Chapel invited everyone back on April 28-May 3, 2013 for their revival with guest speaker, Rev. Jimmy Jones. The service was enlightening and uplifting and Bro. Elton Hunt closed with a few inspirational words and a prayer encouragement for the young and old.
