Pastor Teddy Jacobs was a very welcomed guest speaker for Pastor Appreciation Day October 7, 2018. His timely message was about “Teamwork” and he shared the acronym for team: T-Together E-Everyone A-Achives M-More. His message was taken from Genesis 11:1-9 and he offered realistic visual, interactive demonstrations of the various struggles occurring when people don’t pull together versus how smoothly things run when folks do pull together for a common goal. Sis. Cassandra Scott-Brewer, Bro. Bronnie Scott and Sis. Page Freeman led the Mixed Choir in special music including a powerful rendition of The Blood. Pastor Chris Miller and Sis. Michelle were recognized with words of encouragement and gifts from members of the congregation. Former Pastor Willie Scott & Sis. Barbara joined in the celebration & appreciation. A Delightful dinner was served afterwards for everyone to enjoy!
