“ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ” (Romans 8:28, King James Version).
Simply by being alive brings about experiences that can be unpleasant. Life is certainly not all doom and gloom but when those trying moments happen, life can be very hard even for God’s children. In all probability, someone who reads this is likely experiencing one of those difficult times right now. My beloved pastor Dwayne Lowry has taught me three principles that has helped me learn to deal with these trying moments that I would like to share with you. The first is to know that God is too good to ever do anything cruel. Satan would have you think God is your enemy in these challenging moments yet that is a lie. The second is to know that God is too wise to make a mistake. In fact, He knows what is best for you, even in those situations that seem no “good” can be in them. Furthermore, He will not put too much on you that you cannot bear. You can get through this with God. Lastly, is to know that God is so deep He does not have to explain Himself. Instead of asking “why” we should trust God. You may think this is easier said than done but is that really the case? Trusting the one who knows all things, created all things, who is all-powerful and all-loving, is the reasonable and rational thing to do. By learning and applying these three principles you will never be disappointed in God, you will never panic in a crisis and you will never have to ask why.
