On Sunday November 28th cast members of The Eleventh Hour, and local church members, held a Street Ministry in the parking lot of Cyna’s Jewelers.  We were able to give away FREE clothes, food, toys, blankets, books and hygiene products. After receiving clothes, they were able to enjoy hot chocolate, chicken bog, hot dogs, 100 peanut butter sandwiches and drinks.  We were able to give away 78 hot dogs, 100 drinks, a large pot of chicken bog cooked by Gene Deese and 96 cups of hot chocolate. Our teens and pre-teens made signs and held them up at the road to let everyone know about the event.

We also had a prayer team on site for those needing prayer and/or words of encouragement. It was such a blessing to be able to give to those in need. The bible teaches us that it’s better to give than to receive. I encourage each of you to donate from your closets, bring toys and can foods to our next event. Seeing the smiles on their faces was priceless! Our next event is Dec 12th from 3-5pm at Strickland Heights in Pembroke. Come join us!
