Maxton- Members and friends of Shoeheel Holiness Methodist church complete another task on the journey to renovate and expand the church’s kitchen by removing the brick and mortar that once formed the chimney for the boiler. On an earlier workday the boiler itself had been removed. Tearing down bricks would seem by wording to be an easy task but as Brother Mitchell Harris and Jesse Locklear and others discovered even heavy equipment sometimes is no replacement for hard work and perseverance. Thanks to the Reverend Clyde Locklear, John, Liz and Brandon for pitching in.
