During preaching at Shoeheel this week the laity was reminded that we can not simply wish our problems away. The prophet Habakkuk said, “O Lord, how long shall I cry, and Thou will not hear…” (Hab. 1:2, King James Version). We learned that during our “problems” of life God will give us power by the Holy Spirit to endure and overcome. Living out Christianity is not a bed of roses as many false teachers have promised but rather a life commented to faithfulness to our Lord, Jesus Christ no matter what comes our way.
